The ILS is pleased to confirm that the Registration site for the World Conference on Drowning Prevention (WCDP) 2019, that will be hosted by our colleagues from Lifesaving South Africa in Durban from 8th to 10th October 2019, is now live. Registrations can be made by following the link to the WCDP 2019 Website:

The WCDP 2019 will take place at the Albert Luthuli International Conference Centre in Durban, South Africa.

Further information will continue to be added to the WCDP 2019 website as the programme of events is developed, including information on accommodation and transportation. The first call for the submission of abstracts from potential speakers will be made early in July. The ILS Board of Directors and Commission meetings will take place in Durban immediately before the Conference from 4th to 7th October 2019.

Early bird registration rates will continue until 31st March 2019, after which the normal registration rates will apply until 8th August 2019. Late registration rates will be applied up until the close of registrations on 2nd October 2019.
